Junior y Chino Because we love America

About

We are glad that you stopped by to visit and that you are interested in learning a little bit about the two political dorks who decided to put this project together.

I am Junior... named such because of my dad who couldn't think of anything more original than to name me after him... hence, Sergio Jr.... hence Junior, the namesake in family circles for most of my life.

I am a native of New York City, the liberal capital of this country.  This is where I began my path toward conformity and venerance of any culture and identity other than that of being an American.  I say this because it has long been my experience that first generation Americans like myself are born into families that have migrated to this great country, either legally or otherwise, and thus have decided that they are here, only to make money and aspire to some day be able to move back to their own country with the riches they have acquired in our (for now) free market, capitalist economic system.

This biased view transcends the personal beliefs of those who come here for one reason (to make money), but wind up starting families, getting good jobs, buying homes and generally making a good life for themselves.  The negative ideology  is disseminated to subsequent generations and none are fully assimilated into the American culture.  This results in feelings, first, of guilt for being an American (such as in my case) and secondly, animosity toward our great country.  I was always proud to tell those who asked me that I was Ecuadorian first and foremost.  WRONG!  I am an American.  This is not to say that I have forgotten wherefrom I have come inasmuch as culture, cuisine, art, music and all of the other wonderful and beautiful things that Ecuador has to offer.  The problem is introduced in the faulty mindset that we are somehow just temporary tenants of this country and that we should aspire to be part of, and swear allegiance to another country.

To sum up this point, I love my heritage, but I love my country and my allegiance is to it above all other.

Moving on, I did vote for President Barack Obama because, like everyone who is drawn in by the media hype, I believed that he could make "Change" happen.  I had "hope".  Not so much that he could change or reverse anything that President George W Bush did, but overall Washington politics and the endless bureaucracy.

I noticed something very interesting start to happen shortly after President Obama was elected.  In conversations with your other host on this site, Chino, I began to notice a radical change start to surface, but not in the way, that I was hoping for, but quite the opposite.  It was at this point, that I decided that I was going to become a more informed citizen and not just follow the media and the sheep that is the general population.  I was disgusted to learn of the number of people who voted for Obama because he was "attractive, intelligent, African American, etc." versus those who voted one way or the other, based on actual issues.

Because of this, I read as much as I can everyday (I hate reading!) and I would strongly encourage you all to do the same.  I absolutely do not claim to be an intellectual about this subject, and this site is not going to be an arena for Chino and I to pontificate on the subject of politics.  I want to make this point very clear because Chino and I decided, from the first day that we talked about doing this, that we wanted to educate our audience on the things that the media, especially those who claim to be news reporters and political pundits, are not talking about.  By educate we only mean, to inform you so that you, as common-sense citizens of this country, can make your own judgment.   So that those who wish to support President Obama and other liberals, progressives, democrats, etc. are not offended when we call them Socialists, Marxists, Fascists and Communists.  So that you understand that when we call Obama a Socialist, it is not meant to insult him, but rather to give a name to, or define his policies and philosophies (thanks for this reference Chino).  We want to make sure that all of you have a voice and a place you can come to for tidbits of information that will help you understand your rights as a people and as an individual.

I am going to work very hard to continue to seek out the information we need to know about why we love our country, to let our voices be heard and to know what do against those who work collusively to manipulate our Constitution, not to bring about "Change" or to help us, but to increase America's dependence ce on government and thus, by default, grow government.  Remember, the government is there to work for those who allow themselves to be governed (us), not the other way around.

On a personal note, as I mentioned, I am from NYC and now reside in our nation's heartland, in the beautiful state of Iowa.  My wonderful wife, Lisa and I have two gorgeous girls, Gianina and Isabella and a little ankle biter named Nestor.  You will get to know me a lot better throughout our discussions and I hope that you all will tell a little bit about yourselves when you post.

God Bless you,
Junior (a.k.a. Sergio)

OK, MY TURN....

My name is Edward R. Sandoval.  Everyone calls me Eddie. Yo soy El Chino, like I said in my first rant, I am 25% Chinese which makes me a little slanty-eyed.  My mother is from Ecuador, but her father was Chinese, so she is 50-50 but raised in all the customs of Ecuador.  She grew up modestly, she would call it poor, with 3 brothers and 3 sisters.  My father grew up on a farm in Guatemala with 6 brothers and 1 sister.  My mom chose to educate herself and rode that wave to a school here in the states where she settled immediately after graduation.  She became a NYC schoolteacher and did that until she retired in 2007 I believe.  My dad came to NY at 19 years old the old fashioned way (I'll leave that to your imagination), and worked at any job he could like many immigrants.  He was a hard worker and met some good people (white Americans) that helped him along.  He also had a devoted circle of friends, friends that introduced him to my mom.... the rest is history.

From the age of 1 year old to about 2, my parents experimented with living in Guatemala and had a little grocery store there.  That didnt work, so they came back to NY. So I suppose my first language would have been Spanish, but once back in NY it was all English all the time, except at home.  I grew up in the 80's with much of the same experiences as any other American. I watched The Brady Bunch, Gilligan's Island, The A-Team, Knight Rider etc.  My dad worked all the time, leaving early in the morning and home by dinner, then bed time.  Even weekends.  Since my Mom was a teacher, she had the same hours I did.  So when I was home, she was home.  Looking back, this was probably a good thing because I didnt venture out into the street without her knowing, and she NEVER let me out!!  BUT.... as I am fond of saying, I think I still would have turned out the same way regardless because you are who you are. Enviornment molds you a bit, but basically, you are born one way and that's who you'll be under normal circumstances. If you have crackhead parents you're definitely gonna have some problems, but thats beside the point.

As a pre-teen, I would see this guy on TV, his name was Rush Limbaugh. Now I didnt hear what he was saying or have any idea what he was talking about, but something drew me to him.  The clean pressed look, the blue blazer, tie and white shirt. The mohagany desk and bookcase.  The commanding, yet smooth voice.  I admired him.  I didnt know who he was or what he did, but I liked him.  He was a sharp contrast to the long haired, bearded, dirty looking hippies that I was used to seeing.  They were the Reagan years, things were changing, America was getting back on the right track reminiscent of the 50's.  Family was important again, free love, drugs, sex and rock and roll was out.  The yuppie had taken over!  At this time, I am not aware of the world around me, just taking it all in.

Then came high school. A rude awakening! I was no longer under my mom's protection, I was loose on the streets of Brooklyn, left to fend for myself when I wasn't in class.  I learned that people can be mean, even evil.  You ever see a Chinese man beaten to a pulp by 3 guys who lost a fight to one of your crew just to spite you.  Then look upon his bloody swollen face as you offer to take him to the hospital and he refuses because he is illegal or can't afford it or whatever?  I have.  Ever stand on a crowded subway train as a gang of about 50 walk through and suddenly the guy sitting beside you is beat to crap because his foot was in the way and tripped one of the guys? I have. I still remember the yellow Polo jacket the gang member was wearing.  You ever been on the bus picking up your girlfriend from school and get jumped by 4 guys cause they want your beeper and gold ring?  I have.  I was wearing a white shirt, it was solid crimson by the time I got to the hospital.  There are dozens of more incidents, I've been robbed several other times, other times I fought back so I wasnt actually robbed.  Even had to stab a guy that tried to rob me while I was working.  Let me take that back, he was not a guy, he was a kid about 16 or 17. But he was big enough to throw me against the wall and demand my gold chain!  He ran off with minor injuries.  I saved two guys on seperate occasions from getting beat to death, literally, one with a sledgehammer, the other was 1 against 15.  I HAD to do something.

Why tell you about all this........?  To what purpose?  To show off?  No, many of you didn't have a life like this, therefore you are in the dark... you watch the news, see people getting killed everyday, and just gloss over it like its just a movie, it aint real.  It is real, these people are out there, in droves!  There is evil in this world, ever watch Law and Order, regular, SVU and Criminal Intent.  Do you know why those shows are so successful?  They are TRUE EFFIN STORIES of crimes in NY!!! Sometimes I watch an episode and I remember when that case was in the paper.  Again I ask you, why am I emphasizing this......?

You tell me, I dare you, what do I owe these people?  Why should I have to pay for their medical bills, or housing, or kids baby formula for that matter?  Kids that they have by 3 different fathers?  Why should their welfare checks come from my hard earned tax dollars.  And they are hard earned, I have worked hard from the moment Sharon told me she was pregnant.  I dont mean that I'm trapped in an office from 9-5 (30 min for lunch). Hard physical labor.  Labor that many people can't do.  Labor that pays well.  I worked for that money to raise MY kids, to feed MY family, to put nice clothes on my 3 children, to keep us out of the projects, out of the trailer park, out of overcrowded tenement apartments in NY.  I work for my needs, not for other lazy asses!  What do I owe them? What do they deserve from me?  Next time you pass by a housing project remember, you bought them those baggy pants. Next time you pass a trailer park  remember, you paid for that camaro.  You paid for them because these lazy asses wont work to support their own responsibilities, but since you took care of food, shelter and even money, whatever money they do get they spend on stuff they want, like cars with rims, jewelery, beer and drugs.  You say I'm stereotyping, I am stating truisms!  They are not stupid people, just lazy, they know that if they earn too much, the benefits will be cut off.  If they still want more STUFF, sometimes they turn to illegal means.

This is the heart of what Eddie el Chino is all about.  Leave me alone, and I'll leave you alone.  If you are my friend or family, you know that I will do anything I can for you if you need me too.  I'm here.  AND, if you know me, you know that I don't tolerate bad people.  Especially if you're in my family!  I never hurt anybody that didn't try to hurt me first.  But having said that, I welcome you to try and hurt me.  I am also one of those that relishes the battle.  Whether it be verbal, behind my back, or in your face physical, BRING IT ON! I like it!

Junior, this is supposed to be ABOUT ME, so that is what I did.  Oh yeah, I mean what I say and say what I mean. No hidden messages, no hints.  If you piss me off, you'll know it.  If you piss me off enough, everyone will know it!

Now throughout all this, I really am a nice guy, once you get to know me. Ask anyone.
