Why Do So Many People Hate Being American?
You know it makes me so mad to hear some of the following statements:
"Well, I was born in America, but I'm Ecuadorian, Colombian, Nigerian, Chinese, etc."
"Why does this country have to be so arrogant?"
"Why do we have to meddle in other countries' affairs?"
"Why can't we be more like other countries in (insert subject here)...?"
What gives? What the heck (euphemism) is wrong with being an American?!?! Why are we so ashamed to be the best country in the world? Why should we try to copy other countries' failed policies? We may not be perfect, but we are the best country. Why are we not proud to have accomplished in a little over 200 years, what other countries have not accomplished in 2000 years?!?!
America is the most financially successful (until now), most free, most giving nation in the history of the world... So love it or leave it!!
I wanna know what you think. Are you proud? Or are you a hater? And why?
- Junior

HALLELUJAH !!!!!! Tell em brotha! One thing I would say, i dont even bother with the ‘we may not be perfect, but…’ thats a given. nothing or nobody is perfect, we dont need to be reminded all the time. it almost gives credence to the haters. But it can be measured and put on paper who or what is THE BEST and thats who we are, what this country is. And if u dont agree, or dont like that idea……… wait…….. a little more, wait………. THATS OK! If you think Canada has it all figured out, or France is waaaaay better than us, FINE. Then be true to your convictions and true to your word and yourself and GET THE EFF OUTTA HERE!!!! If ya hate it so much, what the eff are u doing here? I hated the projects, i worked, and i got out. I hated NY, I left for Virginia. Leave us here to enjoy our amber waves of grain from sea to shining sea.
July 22nd, 2009 - 14:10
America the beautiful!!! I am proud to call myself an American to anyone, anytime, anywhere without hesitation without apology. Junior you are not alone in your anger.
I say, to anyone who stands on this soil and cries about how horrible we are and how wrong it is to be proud of being an American they do not know the first thing about their history they do not know what sacrifice, patriotism, liberty or having their own opinion means much less feels like. We live in a free country why not really take advantage of that and possess your own free thinking not what is spoon fed to the masses through various guilt channels and anti American seminars an opinion that though it might piss some people off is truly one of your own ideals and ways of being not Oprah Winfrey’s or whomever.
Why not try going to any battle ground anywhere in America (there are many)stand there on that bloodied land close your eyes and put yourself in the place of that 17 year old boy who laid there dying not so long ago knowing that the last thing he saw was that American flag and in his heart he was proud, proud to die for his freedom for our freedom for the life and existence of America and everything she stands for.
Ask yourself do you have the guts to be an American? Because that is what it means, you would fight to protect it against anyone or anything that tried to decimate this country you would stand up and actually have what it takes to defend it whether that be verbally or physically.
And for those who beileve we “meddle” in other countries business ask any Holocaust survivor just how irritating those American soldiers were you know the ones that came to save them from the hell on earth prison camp or the millions who have been saved by the constant flow of medicine, money, military support and food to third world countries, boy that must be so annoying for them to see yet another shipment from America stocked with life saving supplies.
I couldn’t say it better then Eddie did, GET THE EFF OUTTA HERE!!!
July 23rd, 2009 - 06:46
Thank you Lauri… and can I just add to your beautifully stated, patriotic prose… in particular, the part about the “flow of medicine, money, military support and food to third world countries.” All you haters should know that because of our success, America is the most giving country in the world! No other country comes close.
July 28th, 2009 - 14:29
Ugh, this is all so tired. This rhetoric doesn’t further discussion on anything useful. You’re not even talking about anything, you’re just thumping on your chest and yelling obscenities at anyone trying to actually hold a conversation.
To illustrate:
A husband and wife sit down to a dinner at home. Wife mentions that the washing machine broke today and if it’s not replaced soon she’ll have to start using the laundrymat. Husband starts yelling that she’s anti-laundry, and if she feels so strongly about the laundrymat she should just go live there, ending his reply with a contemptous “GET THE EFF OUTTA HERE!!!” O_o
Those of us you label “haters” are merely the wife, trying to talk about something that’s broken.
Why can’t you just have a civilized adult conversation? Why does it have to devolve into chest thumping yelling of obscenities?
Is it anti-American to question things? To talk about repairing things or replacing things? Time moves forward, things that once worked have aged, have become out of balance, broken. The “flow of medicine, money, military support and food to third world countries” is overshadowed by the Superfund sites, the systematic looting of third world countries and the waging of wars to remain in control of dwindling oil supplies.
And Chino, “… it can be measured and put on paper who or what is THE BEST and thats who we are, what this country is.” Well by your own standards, measured and on paper data says we aren’t the best at education, CBS reported about it here: http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2005/09/13/national/main838207.shtml
We aren’t the wealthiest, as your own blog complains about, we are in some massive debt. And why is it, it’s ok to complain about the debt, but if one was to question the habits that got us into the debt, one would be called a hater….? Can’t we please just have a conversation? Like our dependence on oil, we have a food production system that needs 10 calories of petroleum to make one calorie of food. Surely that’s not THE BEST. We have a dependence on cheap foreign goods that’s weakened our own industrial base to nearly collapse and contributed heartily to that massive debt. Is that THE BEST? We have the most expensive health care system in the world but we’re not in the top 10 for lowest infant mortality rates, or in the top 10 for highest age expectancy. These things are important, but it’s hard to have a discussion about them when one side is yelling we’re THE BEST “GET THE EFF OUTTA HERE!!!”
July 28th, 2009 - 15:08
Thats what I love to hear! You just may well be the definition of a ‘hater.’ Im not trying to name call, all your points are absolutely valid. What model would you propose we follow in each of your gripes.
It is undeniable, and I am totally in agreement with us having maybe the worst school system in the developed world.
Well the problem with the schools in the USA as I see it is the teacher’s union. Teachers have no incentive to teach! They are just punching a clock. I don’t believe they get paid enough, but I feel they should get paid for performance. Better teachers that consistently produce higher test scores from their students should be able to command higher pay in the workforce. Also, parents should be able to choose (gasp..what an ugly word) which school their children attend promoting competition between the schools to perform better or else experience dwindling enrollment and ultimately the principal and some teachers may lose their jobs.
You see Jennie, that is what I call a solution as opposed to just a complaint. You can complain about this country (like you just did and were not censored), or your job, or your husband, but what good does it do to complain for the sake of complaining because you can?
Again, I have to ask you, if you hate it so much, why are you here? Its a basic question. Dont say ‘because I love this country’ because you obviously dont. If you have all these complaints about your job, get another one. If you have all these complaints about your husband, divorce him. Likewise, if you have all these complaints about the country, I’ll ask you kindly to please leave.
July 28th, 2009 - 15:10
Jennie, you bring up a good point. There is no question that there are things that are “broken” as is the case in all countries and all homes. My dissent was meant for those who want to promote negativity in this country. This is especially true for those who come here from other countries and talk about how crappy this country is and how great theirs are. Then what are you doing here? I’ll tell you what… they are here to rape this country of it’s money while they use our resources such as emergency services in the form of police, fire rescue, ambulances and emergency care at hospitals.
Another argument in your favor is that we should have discussions about things such as health care. Instead “the other side” wants to ram it down our throats. The President wishes to push Health Care Reform through with the utmost haste. Why? Is this simply a case of chest thumping, as you put it? Why is he doing this in the name of yet another thing “we have to do”? “We must act boldly and swiftly” he said when pushing through the 700-page, $787 billion dollar stimulus… of which only 10% has been spent and already there are talks of another stimulus?!?! Discussions are great… dialogue is great! Being told what WE NEED is not good. On paper or not, we have the best health care system in the world. I would like to have discussions about some form of regulation, NOT ADMINISTRATION. Why are Canada and Great Britain’s citizens coming to America for medical attention? Why is it that Mr Obama says that we will have the same great health care that our legislators? Representatives, Senators and all government employees have PRIVATE health care administrators. I don’t know about you, but I don’t want my health care to be like the US Postal Service or Amtrak or any other government run institutions. I digress, because my point was that this is the best country in the world. I believe that to be true just like the husband with the broken dishwasher who has a great wife, great kids, many other appliances that work great, because he lives in the greatest country on the planet, where he can work hard and make it! Where else can you do that? Ask the illegal immigrants who come here, because as hard as they work in their countries (and I know that Mexicans and other Latinos work their asses off), they can’t afford to have as good a life or they can afford it and the country’s infrastructure is poor or there is simply no supply to satiate demand.
So, not withstanding Chino’s remarks, I say, this IS the best country in the world… but I will change it up a little bit and say “LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT”!
July 28th, 2009 - 18:18
A quick note to Jennie; why would the wife have to complain about a broken washing machine when she could go get a new one herself, meaning actually be the solution by doing something about problem instead of waiting and relying on someone else to fix it for her? Because that is what the American Spirit is about not standing around waiting for someone else to do something that you are already perfectly capable of doing yourself.
Just for the record not once did I beat on my chest or yell an obscenity
July 29th, 2009 - 16:46
Wow! I was wondering if anyone would see my comment since it was a couple days late. I guess so.
Chino: “Again, I have to ask you, if you hate it so much, why are you here?” You’ll notice please you are the only one using the word hate. I merely question whether things could be better. As for the models I propose we follow, I cover such things on my own blog, http://myfreedompath.blogspot.com/ I don’t like to soapbox in the comment sections of other peoples blogs.
Junior, the military has a government run health care system and it’s considered pretty good. If it’s good enough for our fighting men, surely it’s good enough for citizens.
Just a thought.
Lauri I totally agree. We shouldn’t stand around waiting for other countries to grow our food, make our clothes and supply us with oil. But sadly that’s what we as a nation do right now. And we’re forgetting how to do them ourselves.
Anyway, I’ll probably pop back in a few times as long as y’all keep things civil.
-Jennie
July 30th, 2009 - 08:47
Feel free to soapbox all you want. Your intelligent banter is always welcome and I will definitely check out your blog…
Now, I am not the only one using the word hate, or hater. That is the title of the post!!!! Junior called out all haters, and you responded!
My feeling is that you were offended at the thought that because you had these feelings, we labeled you a hater.
Actually, I dont think Junior was referring to you. If I am correct, I think he was referring to ungrateful immigrants who come here to reap the rewards of this Eden, then badmouth it. I personally extend that to American citizens who dont have the guts to confront real evil and only serve to diminish their own house.
Also, typical of debaters who are losing their argument, attack the other guy with personal attacks when you have no more good points to make. I use the word ‘hate’ in this forum for dramatic effect, surely anyone can see this.
I am a little disappointed, you started to make some good points.
August 5th, 2009 - 01:43
I love the US but not more than justice and truth….i am a patriot first and foremost to moral ideals that many claim to have. Philanthropy to disguise greed has been a tactic of thr ruling elite since time or history as we know it began. There is much much more information out there to consider when we evaluate patriotism….for the ruling elite now no national bounds. They care only about profit and the world’s media conglomeration now down to five corpOrations filter anything on tv or radio…thats why radio waves arent free and open. America could immolate itself but i f it brings profit and increased political power for the elite who move presidents and congresspersons like pawns then so be it. Certain facts about US atrocities can be excluded easily if we put patriotism before an honest desire for truth and the understanding that to accumulate its artifacts you must dig and never never exclude a piece of evidence or live in denial of its existence.
August 7th, 2009 - 13:57
name an atrocity Pablo so we can discuss how misguided you are, otherwise you are just making unfounded accusations. (slinging mud, name calling, hatin’)
And don’t go the easy route and say SLAVERY or what we did to the NATIVE AMERICANS. Thats not whats really bugging you. How about we confine your allegations to the 20th century, because anything before then is simply, well, how shall I put it….. doesnt affect us today.
Sure the French might be speaking German right now and there might be a few 100 thousand more Japanese in the world, but none of that makes us bad today!
Tell me about it…. convince me.
August 9th, 2009 - 11:53
Wow thats so easy to do if you have read into history with the understanding that there is a worldwide system for manipulating government as many journalists authors and researchers have done…jim mars, william cooper, and howard zinn are only a
few brave writers who have dared to print what is hidden from the public. Agent orange used in vietnam parallels the use of depleted uranium in the gulf wars. Chemical and radioactive substances (respectively) used in these confrontations affecting not only enemy soldiers but civilians and our own soldiers. These substances have caused cancer, a dramatic increase in abnormal births, as well as other abnormalities even in our own soldiers many of which i have spoken to personally. Depleted uranium is a well kniwn radioactive metal and has been used in tank shells and other explosive devices…pieces of this are lying all over iraq and is the truth behind the gulf war syndrome as agent aorange is the truth behind many health issues of our soldiers and vietnamese after that war. It seems as though through no fault o your own you are far from aware of the political nature of governments in general for the ruling elite know no national bounds. I have met and
interviewed soldiers who tell of how they were ordered to line up and shoot iraqi
civilians just to prove themselves to commanders. Then there is always the way our
government turns a blind eye to corporate abuses abroad and at home. Now my friend you may turn out the typical response to these
evidenced facts 1st denial of their validity
2nd denial of sources and then ultimately 3 rd some justification. Or you can choose the other pill and see how deep the rabbit hole goes….
Your bretheren Pablo.
August 9th, 2009 - 17:00
Oh and one last thing…by scientific law of cause and effect everything that has happened before affects us today.
August 11th, 2009 - 10:10
WOW Pablito… I like dees guy meng! You are right on 1 of your 3 assumptions of me…. sorta. I will not ‘justify’ agent orange or the use of depleted uranium in Iraq, but, it’s effin war man. Doesnt make it right, but you focus singularly on what WE do in times of war. What about Daniel Pearl, where is his head now? Not with the rest of his body. What about the soldiers burning, hanging from the bridge in, was it Fallujah? What about the Vietnamese POW camps, they better than Gitmo?
So I will not deny they happen. I will not discredit the source, you.
But wartime actions are hardly anyone’s finest moments. And if thats all you got…. we’re in good shape as a country, as soon as the self loathers like yourself start taking pride in the good which VASTLY outweighs the nitpicky stuff you want to focus on.
I’m sorry we’re not perfect enough for you yet.
August 11th, 2009 - 10:14
Ok mister ‘by scientific law…’
I got a quote for ya… the sins of the father dont condemn the sons, or somethin like that. And when you talk about ‘the ruling elite’, wow, you sound so CHE. Wait, I bet you take that as a compliment.
August 11th, 2009 - 10:21
Way to go Ernesto! You’ve riled up the Chino!
August 11th, 2009 - 22:53
Incredible the way your patriotism outways your morality and good ol common sense. You are just way too caught up in the American dream theyve sold you. First, im no commy marxist leftist…denominations like those are a tool of the “elite” to divide us and the plain morality of issues like these. You see chinito though you may want to brush away speaking of the ruling elite families which are international and intergenerational (meaning they have existed way longer than you have probably read into history) they actually do exist, and war is was and always will be a
main way they dupe people like yourself into feeling nationalism. War was decided upon as the best way to control society by the…oooohooogaooogaooga “elite” in the report from iron mountain new york in the sixties. The trialateral commision the council on foreign relations the bilderberg grp all modern day branches of older societies in place to keep us in place…divided so if you dont care
that they knowingly put Our soldiers in the way
of radioactive metal okydokey cowboy
ride on regulators! Look dude you need to get hip to the truth about patriotism your being sold a dream…thats it…even if you scratch your way up the social pyramid by steppin on every sally and joe along the way..the idea is
you i and everyone else who actually works(meaning isnt generationally wealthy…yesterdays nobility=todays cross sectional major stockholders) are dispensible. And to be very clear I have no problem with being American Colombian or anything else because the reality is it doesnt matter …I cant blame our government alone…I cant even think on the level you seem to be stuck on like a fly on shit. Brother it isnt about who is the best, the most benevolent or who has the least UN sanctions ( though i hope you know the UN has sanctioned the US numerous times and blamed the US for crippling Cuba with its embargo). See its really
about who can sell their story the most…And guess what ? Because of
the sins of our forefathers we can surely say thats US. See the US can market
it self as the best… Drop bombs and food, downplay one and propagandize the other. Our country has always been a safe haven for corporations…faceless entities who are never brought to justice for the wars proliferated for two things: debt and profit. So yes war is and will continue to be a major function of stabilization for the oogaoogaooga “elite”. In that little report I mentioned the war on terror was thought up as well since the UN would prevent and or resolve most conflicts… An
neverending war was needed against an enemy that could not be pinpointed but could be anywhere. So once again, it is not about the US being bad or good… In my opinion the working people of America are good and are so everywhere else on earth..Sadly, a vast majority of our elected officials are and have always been a part of certain “society” or circles ( if you are thrown off by the word conspiracy or secret) that may not do their dirt out in the open where more powerful nations can report it,…oh wait this is the most powerful nation, but they do contribute to and allow certain little things like 911 to cash in on last minute insurance contracts and advance the war machine in a favorable direction. And you can bet your last little
lincoln that they finance all types of atrocities around the globe….(if you seek you shall see) from the drug trade to increase the industrial prison complex, to nike sweatshops where a human being is given a 23 little lincoln an hour chance to succeed. So yes this country (meaning the elite running it) does the best job of hiding its dirty work…but of course why not…when the elder secret socities like the illuminati where hunted down and killed in Europe and Russia ..they founded the good ol US of A to start anew..and so they devrloped an expandable middle class….so that dicks like you and I can swordfight drink coke and be entertained while they make all look and sound so nice…so dream away.
August 12th, 2009 - 07:29
HAHAHANABANANA!! First of all, I never swordfight, lol.
And wow, Illuminati, Free Masons, who sounds like the one living in a dream?
Let me clear one thing up, seems you read too fast for your brain to take everything in…. I said that because the agent orange and the cause for Iraq War Syndrome (by the way, syndrome is a word used to describe conditions that really have no explanation) happened during wartime it still DOES NOT EXCUSE IT. YOU just choose to focus on OUR imperfections and NEVER mention all the horrible things others have done. (you have yet to do so)
Also, of course these ‘societies’, groups, clubs exist. There’s an annual meeting of the Masons every year in Alexandria, VA. I met some of them. pssssst, its no big secret. They have the so called “American Dream” down pat. (another fyi, they are not all white!) Its very similar to what the Jews and Koreans do in this country. They band together for their own advancement. It works, and they get ahead, leaving us squirrels fighting each other for a nut while they control the flow of nuts. That is not evil that is just smart capitalism!
What are you doing about it, what can you do about it? Nothing. All you do is bitch, moan and complain so if you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem. YOU ARE THE PROBLEM.
I hear that Myanmar is short on ruling elites; so again, I say if you don’t like it get the eff out because all you do is serve to divide us.
August 12th, 2009 - 19:47
Ok congrats. every single point ive made you have managed to completely miss, misconstrue or avoid…clearly your national pride is surpressing your intellect and ability to analyze so this will be my last comment. I have tried to broaden your view to see that the true nature of world politics, again, is not about the US being bad or better but your head seems to be so far up the bald eagles ass you cant smell the shit! You said I read too fast but You completely missed tht I wrote all govts do bad things 1st world govts just hide it better or fund others and then blame them. Again, hundreds of well decorated militarypersonnel have come foward and paid testament
to all types of shit dude. But all you care to do is argue about who
is the best?!?! Break out of the boxes (ie political parties) that have been creted to contain you. It seems clear brother that you cannot tackle the true nature of any of the issues/atrocities ive cited. And further you continue to confine my political views to your narrow sight. You say im dreaming but youve met freemasons yourself(lower degrees and of course their not all white like i said and like the middle class thy were forced to expand) Did you know they were forced to close hundreds of their lodges during the depression in the 19th century when the working class were raiding them because psst, word got out about their true nature. Of course they have broadened their enrolement they needed to! Do you even know that their oath claims their loyalty above everything…even our beloved constitution (whether you can cleverly get a
mason to admit it or not). So yes Washington’s true loyalty went to the masons not our budding nation. It is so clear how little you understand from up here brother. Capitalism by nature is a hustle…you profit and the buyer always loses, it is never fair or a respectable way to make a living you see(junior) lack of compassion breed s ruthlessness. Not so much at the lower levels but look up brother for gods sake. And …the perfect idea- ‘money’the elite have sought its proliferation and unequivocal use since the inception of government. And Yes by not confronting that our soldiers and civilians will at anytime be sacrificed for the motives of those who pay not to go to war, and go to war to make money only you are excusing it…(for no powerful nation will engage until it is profitable for the stockholders no matter what.) Further, brother i do more than you know, I educate, literally, and I network constantly and most people are flabergasted and want to know more and I send them off to seek as was done to me…so you’ll be pleased to know there are more of us than of them waiting and ready for when things get worse, because they will worsen for the majority. Sadly, history teaches that our great peaceful leaders are martyred to kill the message and replace it with superficial and incomplete memories. MLK was labeled the most dangerous man in america by the fbi(Garrow) though he advocated nonviolence and good moral conscience. You see their worst nightmare is that we wont buy and we wont fight because then we cant be manipulated. So errrr wrong I do alot…as much as i can under the confines of the patriot act (read it i have) and knowledge of the times that I and thousands of others possess. How secure is your job? I and all of mine will be there for you before your precious US. What will happen when they “cut the fat” welfare pfff…mortages, repos thats where its at. Hungry banks are consolidating waiting for the opportunity to reclaim property that has been foreclosed…so tell me how bad is the economy from the vantage point of a multibillionaire with property all over the world so he loses a cool million. What about the long run?…my guess is foreclosures sound great to banks. Higher death tolls higher imprisonment thats all gravy. Also, Your so right about one thing and one thing only …they are very very keen, smart as you say, but keen because they know before we do whats coming down the pipe. Ok, dont wanna overload you, i know its a lot for you to immedietly delete from memory to preserve the reel you keep running over and over on this blog. I really did hope to build with you, but your patriotism is too strong I surrender.
August 22nd, 2009 - 09:29
……….. wtf
January 19th, 2010 - 14:31
America was ONCE great. We maybe the most giving and sincere country when it comes to helping others, yet our politicians aren’t even able to take care of us citizens, especially in the states suffering the most, like California. I’m truly disgusted that our political system puts up too many rules for all citizens, and yet lets the worst people have enough power to get away with what they want (over-paid CEO’s, politicians, and others who are choosing to capitalize on our failing economy.)
January 20th, 2010 - 11:11
I’m a hater because I don’t feel like a natural american. I have lived in other countries that are far from perfect and just have an affinity to it and it’s philosophies. Just because one is born in ‘America’ doesn’t make them ‘American’, I’ve never felt American and I am working on continuing my naturalization process elsewhere. I have a different dream and it’s just not American. So if that makes me a hater then so be it. Doesn’t matter to me as long as I am happy.
January 27th, 2010 - 02:55
To Vi, I say BRAVO. I am serious, that is the way to stand up for your beliefs. If I felt the same way about where I lived, I would leave in a heartbeat…. wait, I did do that, thankfully I didn’t have to leave the country, just New York City. I hate New York and the way life is there. I found Virginia, and I love Virginia.
So Vi, No, I do not consider you a “hater.” You may be a commie, but at least you stand firm in your beliefs, whatever they may be.
BEN, BEN, BEN!!!!!!!
You unlike Vi, but very much like Pablo, are confused and have misplaced your anger. This is and has always been a CAPITALIST society. Kill or be killed, survival of the fittest, only the strong shall survive, etc, etc, etc. You may not like it, but that is a fact. In recent years, or decades, people have gotten so fat and spoiled that they feel guilty to have all this good fortune and wish to change our AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE.
How, in your opinion, was America “once great?” I assume you mean that it is no longer great. Explain to me how you see it as once, in the distant past, we were ONCE a great nation. Was it the Carnegie’s, the Rockefellers, the Eisenhowers, the Pattons?
- Please explain where you learned that a politician is supposed to “take care” of us.
- Why is California “suffering” so much? (People like me would claim that it is because of failing liberal policies just like in NY, Chicago and places like New Orleans.)
- Who are “the worst people?” CEO’s, politicians? Politicians!?!? I thought they were the good guys? Isn’t Obama a politician? Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, Michael Bloomberg? Former Mayor Ray Nagin of New Orleans, former Mayor Marion Barry of DC. These are the saviors of our society are they not? I’m sure you voted for one or more of these guys if you voted at all, did you not?
So are they the good guys or the bad guys?
February 21st, 2010 - 00:03
the United States of America is the most laughed at pseudo democracy that buys into things they barely even know about. From the onset the slave trade to the devisive nature of killing and pillaging native americans. Then, the Civil War because americans cannot negotiate with one another. Then, the women sufferage movement begins and the false Civil Rights given out to appease blacks. Then, the Chinese Exclusion Act and the treatment of the japanese in 1920′s in California. Wait the Mexican-American war generated by Polk and for what?
Whoa, then we have more the mistreatment of the disabled to the mentally handicapped still this days. Wait a second people! Then, we have the isolation of WWI and we sold weapons to gain from it? Secondly, the failuyre to compromise with the Woodrow Wilson Fourteen Points on the League of Nations that more or less lead up the WWII. Then, Hoover getting us into the Great Depression along with Harding and Cooledge on the material Roaring Twenties. Wait! Another thing we didn’t care about the jewish because we allowed the war to progress without us because it began even before September 1st of 1939 and not December, 12th of 1941. It actually began with Adolf Hitler of 1934.
Please let’s look again at the 1950′s with a nuclear stock pile up with the korean war that we never won! Mccarthur wanted us to go into Chian for which we would have lost big time! So, we went to Nam under Eisenhowers advisership and Kennedy and Johnson. Then, you have Water Gate, Tuskageegee Experiments, segergation of the Plessy vs. Ferguson case. I won’t explain further.
March 2nd, 2010 - 17:44
Mister WOLFE? May I ask where you live? Because the whole point and purpose of this posting and the beliefs herein are only that a-holes like you like to reap the benefits of this GREAT country and do nothing but badmouth it.
We as a country, as a people learn and we grow. We make mistakes and then work towards becoming better for it.
But AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!! If you don’t agree with the AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE…….. that is all well and good, just get the eff outta here. What the eff is wrong with your head that you should feel this way and still subject yourself to this so called “torture”? GET OUT!
GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
May 4th, 2010 - 00:54
if i was a mexican, i would not pay for shit!
